Wild Wood Christian Academy

Wild Wood Christian Academy is a Category IV school, registered as a Non-Public Church-Related School in the State of Tennessee using the A.C.E. curriculum. We offer assistance to home school parents with a full service school administration office from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Students are advised on all academic matters related to the educational program and provided with the curriculum necessary for their home school success.

We validate the education you provide for your child. We provide student’s records, projected course of study, and official transcript, college accepted High School Diplomas. Diagnostic testing provides us with a current skill level and concept mastery of each student. A curriculum package will then be prescribed that will ensure each student’s success. We acknowledge transferring passing school grades. Credit is given and students can continue studies equivalent to subjects in progress. No time should be lost in transferring to our school system.

Our academic year normally starts in August and ends in May, but will continue as long as each student needs to finish the requirements. A school year must constitute of no less than 180 working days, not counting sick or vacation days, and completing and passing the required material. Completion of PACES is evidence of attendance. There are no failing students with this curriculum, they work at their own pace until they have completed the course work. Twelve units called PACEs (Packet of Accelerated Christian Education) constitute one year’s work in each subject. A normal subject load is Math, English, Social Studies, Science and Word Building (vocabulary). Other courses and electives are available as well as a full range of Biblical studies. Each PACE is organized with Checkups, Self-test, and PACE test. The PACE test reveals whether the student has just gone through the PACE or whether the PACE has gone through the student.
